About the Caravan Park

The park is in a quiet area well away from the highway. Powered sites have plenty of room and nice views.
There is lots of space for camping and facilities which include an old fuel stove which still works to generate heat in the cold and it cooks as well.
There is BBQ Facilities, Hot Showers, Laundry, and Onsite Cabins and Caravans available at very nominal rates.

The park is pet friendly.
The local friendly pub, named the Black Stump Hotel, has the highest bar of any pub in Australia. It is just around the corner and definately worth a visit or 2.

More about the Park

Merriwagga Caravan Park still retains much of its past history. You will find the old school blubbers still in place. The Schoolhouse still has the old original blackboard with the original duster.

There is old farm equipment on display throughout the park and a museum for you to peruse.

The museum is now open in the Old Hut.and well worth a visit to step back in-time

Merriwagga Caravan Park has the Old School Ambience that any visitor to the Park will sense.

We have 3 onsite caravans and a fully self contained Cabin with all the mod cons.at this moment but this number will increase in time.They are very comfortable and Airconditioned.
